Easy Access and Resident Builder, Peter Wolfkamp – a Partnership in Quality, Efficiency & Safety

After more than 20 years in business, NZ-owned Easy Access remains the premium supplier of height access equipment to building-related trades. With the widest range of ladders, mobile scaffolds, work platforms and edge protection systems available in New Zealand, Easy Access’s focus on keeping trades working efficiently onsite, is matched by a strong and ongoing commitment to safety and compliance.

Quality, efficiency and safety, are values that are shared with Easy Access and by Resident Builder, Peter Wolfkamp. The popular and widely respected foreman from The Block NZ is known for his fastidious attention to keeping construction sites safe for workers.  For this reason, we reckon the partnership forged last year, between Easy Access Co. and Peter Wolfkamp is a perfect dovetail fit.

Peter Wolfkamp working with Easy Access

When Easy Access joined the Building Skills Maintenance (BSM) roadshow last year, it was Peter Wolfkamp who fronted our presentation on safe use of ladders and scaffolds to nearly 3500 Licensed Building Practitioners (LBPs).  The series of free seminars held at 36 venues around New Zealand, covered construction-related health and safety issues such as road safety, dangers of silica dust, staying safe while working at heights, as well as maintaining mental health and wellbeing.

Peter Wolfkamp’s ten-minute video featuring the new Easy Access MOBI Compact Scaffold Tower, and AdjustaStep height-adjustable platform ladder demonstrated the correct and compliant way to use ladders and scaffolds on commercial construction sites in New Zealand, without sacrificing productivity and efficiency.

In addition to providing valuable and up-to-date information around safety and compliance on a wide range of workplace risks, the BSM training contributed to the maintenance of LBP status for the attending Builders.

Another new marketing initiative launched last year by Easy Access was digital advertising on ThreeNow and Newshub websites.  Videos, fronted by Resident Builder, Peter Wolfkamp featured the new Adjustastep and our Warthog Brand of New Zealand-made ladders. These videos, viewed in their entirety over one hundred and eighty thousand times during the period from November 2019 to January this year, will continue to feature on these websites until the end of March.
